Quality & documentation
A fastener without its documentation is a fastener you can't use on a job that requires documentation. We keep certs attached to heat lots from receiving through shipping, so the paper comes out of the same transaction the parts do.
Certification
One facility, one scope, audited annually. Below is what a supplier qualification form asks for. Ask us for the certificate itself and you'll get the registration details on it, signed — we don't publish them on a web page.
| Standard | ISO 9001:2015 |
|---|---|
| Certified address | 1140 Aviation Way, Vandalia, Ohio 45377 |
| Facilities in scope | One — Vandalia, OH |
| Scope of registration | Distribution, kitting, packaging and light secondary processing of mechanical fasteners and related industrial products. |
| Surveillance | Annual |
| Certificate copy | Sent on request with a supplier qualification packet |
We hold ISO 9001 only. We are not AS9100 or AS9120 registered and we don't hold ITAR registration — if your program requires either, we'll tell you at the quote rather than after the order.
Traceable Lines
Graded and structural product is received, binned and picked by heat lot. Commodity low-carbon product ships with a certificate of conformance but not a mill report — we say which is which at the quote.

Documentation
Ask for documentation at the time you order, not after it ships — once parts leave the building, matching paper back to the heat lot you received gets expensive for both of us.
Statement that the parts supplied meet the called-out specification, signed and tied to your order number. Available on any line we ship.
Any line / request at order
The mill's or manufacturer's report for the heat lot, showing chemistry and the mechanical tests the product standard requires — proof load, tensile and hardness as applicable.
Graded · Structural / per heat lot
Stated on every quotation and packing list whether you ask or not. If origin changes between releases on a blanket, we flag it before shipping.
Every line / automatic
Graded and structural product is received, binned and picked by heat lot, so a cert can be matched back to the specific parts you got.
Graded · Structural / bin-level
Level 1 is the Part Submission Warrant on its own. Level 3 adds the supporting records, including dimensional and material results.
Level 1 · Level 3 / production release
Coating thickness and process certification from the plater for parts we send out for finish.
ZP · ZY · HDG / from the plater
| Document | When supplied | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Certificate of conformance | On request, any line | Parts as shipped meet the called-out specification |
| Mill test report | On request, graded & structural | Chemistry and mechanicals for the heat lot |
| Country of origin | Always, no request needed | Origin per line on quote and packing list |
| Heat / lot number | Always, graded & structural | Carton label ties parts back to the cert |
| Plating certification | On request, outside-finished parts | Coating thickness and process from the plater |
| PPAP Level 1 | On request, production release | Part Submission Warrant only |
| PPAP Level 3 | On request, production release | Warrant plus dimensional and material records |
Order the documentation with the parts. Reconstructing a cert after a shipment leaves the dock means matching a carton you already opened back to a bin we've since replenished — sometimes we can, sometimes we honestly can't.
Domestic & DFARS
"DFARS compliant" is not a property of a company. Applicability depends on the contract clause and the specific line item, so we handle it per line rather than as a badge in the footer.
Physically separated in the warehouse with distinct bin labels, so a domestic order can't be filled from an import lot by mistake during a busy pick.
Where DFARS 252.225-7009 applies, we verify the required melt or production origin, qualifying-country status, or the documented fastener exception before accepting the order. Tell us at the quote, not after.
Some categories we simply cannot source domestically at any lead time. We'd rather lose that line than have you find out at receiving inspection.
A structural assembly is three components from three production lots. Each carries its own documentation — we don't cover a nut with the bolt's mill report.
Receiving inspection
Incoming lots are verified against the purchase order and the mill documentation. It's a distribution-level inspection, not a testing laboratory, and we describe it that way on purpose.
